When we built getXplain.ai we wanted kids to feel like they were exploring a universe, not navigating a menu. So the curriculum is arranged as 8 galaxies and 73 worlds.

The eight galaxies

  • Technology & Making — Coding, Data & AI, Robotics, Electronics, Engineering, Architecture, Crafts.
  • Humanities & Society — History, Geography, Archaeology, Psychology, Civics, Economics, Ethics.
  • Language & Communication — Languages, Writing, Poetry, Storytelling, Debate, Public Speaking.
  • Arts & Performance — Art, Music, Photography, Film, Calligraphy, Pottery, Fashion.
  • Life & Wellness — Medicine, Nutrition, Cooking, Emotional Intelligence, Friendship, Martial Arts.
  • Personal Growth — Critical Thinking, Study Skills, Time Management, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Financial Literacy.
  • Outdoors & Play — Nature, Camping, Travel, Sports, Chess, Board Games, Magic Tricks.

Age bands, not grade levels

Every lesson is calibrated to a 2-year age band: Cadet Sparks (6–8), Junior Explorers (8–10), Discovery Crew (10–12), Mission Specialists (12–14), Xplain Pilots (14–16), Star Captains (16–18). Switch any time.
